The problem

Recurring analyst work was spread across SQL pulls, Excel workbooks, formatting, filtering, splitting, and distribution. The same logic had to be repeated as programs and reporting cycles changed.

The approach

I moved reusable business logic into Snowflake SQL, used Python for workflow and workbook automation, and used Excel/Power Query where the final business-facing artifact still needed to remain familiar to stakeholders.

The design principle

Automation should remove repetitive work without making the output harder for the people who depend on it. The goal is a repeatable workflow with the same trusted business result.

The result

The work created a foundation for recurring reporting to become a reusable analytics workflow rather than a manual sequence of analyst steps.
